Those who are playing the early access seem to have a lot of positive things to say about the title. Due to the massive positive reviews, Indiana Jones has become Xbox’s best-rated first-party title this year on Steam.

Why it matters: Many users now look for Steam reviews instead of Metacritic, as they prefer to decide whether a game is worth buying by reading reviews from other consumers who bought the game and actually played it.

Indiana Jones And The Great Circle Has Very Positive Reviews On Steam

Xbox hasn’t been releasing many first-party releases, but the ones it released this year have attracted a lot of love from the fandom. Now, do note that the latest action-adventure title from MachineGames is in early access right now.

So, after full release worldwide, it is likely to receive thousands of new reviews, and the score may fluctuate. The game currently has a 93% positive rating on Steam with 970 reviews.

Among these reviews, 906 are positive. Users are showering it with nothing but praise in the review section, and some even claim it to be the best movie-based game after Alien: Isolation.

Only 5 hours into the story, but the game is phenomenal. It is an Indiana Jones Immersive sim almost. It has MASSIVE expansive levels with loads of sidequests that all feel directly involved with the main story so you feel like Indy piecing together a mystery.

Other players are defining it as a technical marvel, and they have been constantly spotting green flags. The performance has been highly praised, too, as the title seems pretty optimized, even though there were concerns regarding that. It also runs pretty well on the low-end console like Xbox Series S.

That said, some people have complained about it crashing randomly and that the DLSS is broken. These issues can be fixed via patch, so it’s good to see that fans are enjoying the overall experience.
