Leaker Suggests Horizon Forbidden West DLC To Be Announced Soon

New DLC Announcement Expected At The Game Awards 2022!

In October, we discovered through a job posting that Guerrilla Games is working on a new expansion for Horizon Forbidden West. Furthermore, Lance Reddick, the actor who plays the character of Sylens in the game, also teased through a now-deleted video that he is working again on something new for Horizon Forbidden West.

Fans quickly concluded that just like its predecessor Horizon Forbidden West would also be getting a new DLC precisely nine months after its release. However, there was no other information or hints that further added to these leaks; the only sources that backed this news were actors teasing on their social media sites and the job posting we discovered.

Fast forward to today, the famous leaker and gaming industry insider, Snitch, tweeted a new hint that strongly suggests that the Horizon Forbidden West DLC announcement is expected soon.

The above picture shows the Nevada region of the states comprising Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Las Vegas. Interestingly, Horizon Forbidden West fans cannot miss this hint, as previously, players discovered a new locked location in the game named ‘Burning Shores.’

If players tried to trespass the barrier, they were advised to ‘turn back to the game. However, some players managed to surpass the barrier and found that the locked zone contains real-life locations in the Nevada region, just like this new image by Snitch.

Now, if we put together the puzzle pieces, it is clear that the leaker was hinting towards this new expansion for Horizon Forbidden West, and it might get announced soon, whether at The Game Awards 2022 or a simple announcement through a tweet.

Nevertheless, the fans are excited to explore the majestic lands of Forbidden West further and continue the journey of Aloy. It will be interesting to see how this new DLC will turn out for the game. However, as there is no official confirmation or statement from Sony or Guerilla Games, it will be wise to take this news with a grain of salt.
