Hit Title From Game Pass Comes To PlayStation!

High on Life was recently spotted on the PlayStation backend, which led to speculation about an imminent PlayStation port. Soon after, trophies for the game appeared online, leading to anticipation from PS4 and PS5 owners.

A few days after the rumors, High on Life officially arrived on PS4 and PS5.

Why it matters: High on Life was released as an Xbox exclusive on consoles. The game broke several records on Game Pass, and it will reach a massive audience with the PlayStation release.

Unlike its Xbox release, the game will not be available on the subscription service for PlayStation users.

Nonetheless, this release will provide an excellent opportunity for PS4 and PS5 owners to enjoy Squanch Games’ most successful release. The developer has also shared a new look at the upcoming DLC expansion for the game at San Diego Comic-Con.

High on Knife is scheduled for Fall 2023, and a recent video shows nearly ten minutes of new gameplay.

The PlayStation release should allow PS4 and PS5 owners to enjoy the game as they prepare for the upcoming DLC. In addition to more content, the DLC is introducing Harper, a new character to expand the roster of talking weapons in the game.

High on Life has already reached over 7.5 million players worldwide. Squanch Games is likely hoping for similar success on PlayStation, and the game’s previous reception means that this is a very likely scenario.
