- GTA 6’s second trailer is already huge on YouTube.
- It became the fastest video on the platform to reach 1 million likes.
- At the time of writing, the trailer is already close to 2 million likes.
The wait for GTA 6’s second trailer has been long and gruelling. Following the initial reveal in 2023, Rockstar Games stayed silent for well over a year, recently confirming an official delay to the title.
Just days later, the gaming giant suddenly returned with the second trailer. To nobody’s surprise, this trailer has already broken records on YouTube.
Why it matters: The original GTA 6 trailer was a huge deal in its own right. It broke multiple records, but it seems the latest footage will leave previous efforts in the dust.
Trailer 2 has been out for around one hour and has already amassed nearly 2 million likes. Moreover, the video gathered a total of 1 million likes in under 40 minutes, making it the fastest YouTube upload to do so.
The most interesting element in this equation is the fact that this video was released without any prior announcement. In the past, Rockstar Games already confirmed a date for the first GTA 6 trailer.
Although the first trailer was also released ahead of schedule, the team was completely silent about the latest footage. This makes the record all the more impressive, setting a high bar for the actual game’s release next year.
The trailer itself is also remarkable and has earned plenty of praise from the fans. All in all, Rockstar Games has given everyone exactly what was needed, continuing the excitement for its upcoming blockbuster title.
