In the pre-production phase, the developers don’t build a final project but test different things. You can also call it a stage where they implement different ideas and then move on with what they like the best

While we’d love to know more about the game’s setting, a lot remains unknown. CD Projekt Red is referring to it as Cyberpunk 2, so it’s safe to assume it will occur in a futuristic world. However, specific details about the setting remain scarce for now.
