That is precisely why the fandom is patiently waiting for its sequel’s release, which is pretty far away. However, we just received an update from the studio, and Cyberpunk 2077’s sequel, Project Orion, has entered the pre-production phase.
Why it matters: Fans want to know when they will be able to get more Cyberpunk experience from CDPR, so updates like these matter a lot.

While we’d love to know more about the game’s setting, a lot remains unknown. CD Projekt Red is referring to it as Cyberpunk 2, so it’s safe to assume it will occur in a futuristic world. However, specific details about the setting remain scarce for now.
