Story Highlight
  • Cyberpunk 2077 reached another massive milestone on Steam recently.
  • It has finally hit overwhelmingly positive reviews on the platform.
  • Sharing the news, the associate game director stated that he had never dreamt it would be possible.

Cyberpunk 2077 has seen a rollercoaster ride since its launch. The game’s launch was so poor that the CDPR CEO still worries their reputation may never fully recover from its disastrous release.

However, the studio has spent as much as four years fixing the title for the players and meeting their expectations.

It appears that the developers’ hard work and patience are finally paying off, as Cybperunk 2077 hits overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam four years after its launch.

Why it matters: Although the perception of the game has already changed since its launch, this further proves why developers should not give up after a failed launch.

Cyberpunk 2077 Sequel Is Already In Development.

Although the title is already half a decade old, Cyberpunk 2077 still reaches around 70k players on Steam. The sequel of the title is already in development, but CDPR is currently focused more on Witcher 4.

The sequel is still years from release, but it’s encouraging to see fans regaining their trust in CDPR.
