The Silent Hill 2 remake was not just a big deal for the gaming scene. The developers at Bloober Team were finally pushed to prove themselves after past mediocre releases. The entry was a raging success and a faithful adaptation of the original SH2.

The emerging giant has partnered with Netflix to work on yet another new entry, codenamed Project N. This partnership comes after the studio made a deal with Konami to work on a new game after Silent Hill 2.

Why it matters: Bloober Team’s multiple partnerships suggest the studio is expanding and gaining resources to develop more games simultaneously. The team is also working on independent titles.

Netflix and the Bloober Team have agreed to work on a new game, Project N.

Netflix’s partnership with Bloober Team has been officially recognized for Project N, which suggests it will be an exclusive Netflix launch. The media giant will be the sole publisher and owner of the rights to the game.

No details regarding Project N have been revealed, however, so we are left to guess the rest. It is expected to be another horror entry since that is what the Silent Hill 2 remake developers excel at.

Additionally, Netflix’s foray into the game publishing scene is not new. It has been securing and publishing a variety of smaller entries in the past. This might turn out to be one of the first big Netflix releases in the future.
