Bethesda Has Some Of The Best TImeless Classics!

Story Highlight
  • According to an employee, Bethesda has multiple games with over 20 million monthly players.
  • The company has some of the best titles of all time, including Elder Scrolls and Fallout.
  • Bethesda was acquired by Xbox in 2021, so it generated huge revenue for them.

Bethesda Softworks is among the biggest names in the gaming industry. While the company hasn’t been at the top of its game for the last few years, the quality franchises and titles it has pumped out over the years are second to none.

This shows considering a new update has revealed that Bethesda has 15 games that have over 20 million monthly active players. This is a huge number, as with most companies, you don’t have this many games with this huge player base.

Why it matters: Fallout, The Elder Scrolls, and more, Bethesda has been behind some massive hits of all time. These are some timeless classics that still have players hooked to them, despite years since their release.

Bethesda has multiple games with over 20 million active players

According to a new update on Axel Posset’s LinkedIn, Lead NOC Administrator at Bethesda, they supported 15 titles with over 20 million active monthly players, highlighting what a major impact the company has on the industry.

The posting doesn’t reveal the names of the games, but we can guess some of them. The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim is undoubtedly one of the top games on the list. Others could include Fallout 4, Fallout Shelter, and more.

This also shows how important Bethesda is for Microsoft as well. If this many of their games are doing this well, we can expect that a huge chunk of Xbox’s revenue comes from them. Microsoft acquired the company in 2021.

Of course, Microsoft and Bethesda have recently been under fire after layoffs and cancelling funding for Romero Games and certain other projects. However, many fans hope Bethesda can bounce back with The Elder Scrolls 6
