Asus Teases ROG NUC Mini PC For CES 2024

Another Exciting Tease For CES 2024!

It appears that Asus Gaming NUC, which was previously hinted at, was in the works all along and is now ready for prime time. The gaming PC, known by the name ASUS ROG NUC, will now be shown off at CES 2024.

A short teaser for Asus’s first gaming NUC was released on X (Twitter), confirming that it will join other pre-built gaming systems like the Asus ROG C22H.

According to the teaser video, Intel’s previous NUC 12 Enthusiast design, code-named Serpent Canyon, has a lot of resemblance to the new Asus ROG NUC.

The Asus ROG NUC is said to have far more power than the Intel NUC 12 Enthusiast system, which features an Intel 12th generation “Alder Lake” mobile processor and Arc A770M graphics.

Compared to other MicroATX gaming systems, the NUC offers an entirely different solution. Still, there are some limits as to what kind of hardware the small chassis of the NUC can fit comfortably without being thermally constrained.

Asus should be able to provide hardware on par with a Radeon RX 7600 or GeForce RTX 4060, ensuring the focus on small form factor is maintained without compromising too much on the performance.

The PELADN YO series and the Geekom gaming small PC with an AMD RX 7600M XT dedicated GPU, in particular, are two more items planned to launch soon. Although the teaser for the new ASUS ROG NUC gaming system looks excellent, we don’t yet know what’s inside.

It should be interesting to observe the hardware configuration and options Asus decided to go with for their new mini gaming computer. In any event, it is anticipated that ASUS will fully disclose the details when they unveil their gaming NUC during the upcoming week.
