Story Highlight
  • The Flight will compose music for the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
  • In an interview, they said that Assassin’s Creed Shadows is the game fans have been waiting for.
  • Moreover, they also compared the game’s hype to the first release in the franchise.

With just a few days until launch, we’ll finally see if Ubisoft’s years of hard work will bear fruit with Assassin’s Creed Shadows. So far, the game has been looking quite impressive and shaping up to be a great addition to the franchise, aside from a few nitpicks here and there.

Joe Henson and Alexis Smith, collectively known as The Flight, are composing the game’s music. They had nothing but nice things to say about the title and compared it to the hype of the IP’s first entry, suggesting we’ll have one of the greatest Assassin’s Creed releases ever.

Why it matters: With such a wide gap between the mainline entries, Assassin’s Creed Shadows is set to revitalize the series and determine Ubisoft’s fate moving forward.

One-Shot Assassinations Are Back With AC Shadows

In an interview with Screenrant, the composers were specifically asked what they’d say about the game to someone who has missed a few past releases.

This is the one that everybody’s been waiting for, including me.

Moreover, they compared Assassin’s Creed Shadows’ hype to that of the first entry in the series, suggesting that it will be groundbreaking on the same level.

I remember seeing a commercial for the first [Assassin’s Creed] on television and ringing my brother going, ‘Have you seen this game?’ And this feels like that.

Assassins’ Creed Shadows will introduce some new, fresh stealth mechanics, bringing the theme closer to that of the older releases while at the same time retaining their RPG formula.
