Looks More Promising With Each New Trailer!

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is the upcoming title in Ubisoft’s iconic franchise. Since the game is just a few months from release, Ubisoft has begun to share plenty of news regarding the anticipated title.

Recently, Ubisoft released a new trailer of the game that shows Basim’s evolution as a master assassin and expands on the character’s abilities in the game.

Why it matters: Assassin’s Creed has stuck to the RPG formula for the past three games, but Mirage marks a return to the classic formula. This has led to plenty of excitement among new and old fans.

Ubisoft has posted a nearly six-minute video on their official Youtube channel sharing the evolution of Basim as the master assassin, explaining the process and thoughts behind various choices in the game.

The developers stated that players would have a memorable adventure as the story is compelling. Like recent Assassin’s Creed, it has also been confirmed that it is a separate story; and does not require previous knowledge to enjoy.

The footage shows various abilities from Basim. It highlights the skill trees and upgrades that players will unlock as they grow from a novice to a master assassin in the game.

Ubisoft also brings back the fan-favorite outfit dyes from Assassin’s Creed 2 and Brotherhood. This will allow users to customize Basim’s outfit to their liking, picking different colors.

Like the dyes, Assassin’s Creed Mirage will pay homage to another classic game through a color filter. A blue filter will allow users to experience the game with a nostalgic look similar to the first Assassin’s Creed.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be released on October 12 for all major consoles and PC. Unfortunately, PC users will not be able to purchase the game on Steam, as it is expected to launch exclusively on Ubisoft Connect.
