For Nostalgic Assassin's Creed 1 Vibes!

Assassin’s Creed Mirage promises to take the series back to its roots, and Ubisoft has recently released a developer diary to elaborate on the mechanics that help bring the series back to its older mechanics.

The video elaborates on core mechanics like stealth and parkour. Ubisoft has also added a blue filter to the title, allowing players to experience the game with an aesthetic similar to  Assassin’s Creed 1.

Why it Matters: Many fans have been waiting for Ubisoft to bring the Assassin’s Creed franchise to its roots after the RPG games, and the latest title finally addresses this demand.

In the five-minute video, the developers highlighted the blue filter that will give the fans nostalgic vibes. The developers stated:

“We implemented a nostalgic visual filter as an option for those who wish to explore the game with the color palette from the very first AC game.”

Assassin’s Creed Mirage appears to be a very vibrant and colorful game. However, the game also shares similarities with the first game, including its Middle-Eastern setting. Therefore, the nostalgic filter brings the game a step closer to the original Assassin’s Creed.

The game will bring more nostalgia with returning mechanics like elevators, corner swings, and social stealth elements.

Ubisoft will continue to highlight more features for Assassin’s Creed Mirage in the coming days. The developer is also hosting a showcase on June 12, and the upcoming Assassin’s Creed title is expected to be featured at the event.
