Anno 1800 Has Been Rated For The Nintendo Switch And Last-Gen Consoles

Announcement Soon?

Anno 1800 is the seventh and most recent installment in the Anno series developed by Ubisoft. Since its launch in April 2019, it has gained a lot of popularity and is even dubbed by many people as the best Anno game in the series.

Console fans were frustrated that the game was only available on the PC platform, but in October of last year, it was officially confirmed that the developers were working on a version for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, but Nintendo Switch and last-gen console fans still felt left out.

But it seems everyone will be pleased. We have spotted that the ESRB recently rated Anno 1800 for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, along with PC, PlayStation 5, and the Xbox Series X|S, pointing at a potential port.

The Console update from Anno in October of last year also mentioned that more information regarding the console versions of the game would be revealed in early 2023. Therefore, it looks like we might be getting an announcement soon.

Given that Anno 1800 has been available for almost four years, it is encouraging to learn that the game may eventually be released on consoles. Also, judging by its success on the PC platform, many people will have high expectations of the game.

We are excited and looking forward to Anno 1800 on consoles. Not much else is known about the upcoming ports right now, but we will continue to bring more information about Anno 1800 in the future.
