Methodology and FAQ

What is measured and what is estimated

The selected GPU/game/resolution value is the measured baseline. CPU effects, lower presets and 1% lows are estimates.

How are different CPU test rigs handled?

Every review source is normalized internally against its own fastest CPU. The estimator combines normalized relative performance rather than directly mixing raw FPS from different systems.

Why does CPU impact shrink at higher resolution?

Higher resolutions usually increase GPU load. The model therefore applies its strongest CPU influence at 1080p and reduces it at 1440p and 4K.

Are 1% lows measured?

No. They are game-specific estimates and are explicitly labelled as such.
