As Sony tries to acquire Kadokawa, FromSoftware’s parent company, Microsoft will have to fight its way through another case. The investigation will focus on the company’s AI, cybersecurity, and cloud-based products.

The FTC has opened this investigation as its former chair, Lina Khan, signs off. The US is facing a shift in leadership as President Joe Biden ends his era, and Donald Trump is now taking over the position.

Bloomberg has revealed that FTC sent Microsoft a detailed inquiry comprising hundreds of pages. The anti-trust investigation has been launched after over a year of informal interviews with competitors and business partners. The main concern here is how Microsoft bundles all these products together and releases them to the public
