Cyberpunk 2077 is seemingly unstoppable after its latest comeback. In addition to new sales milestones and a complete shift in public perception, the game continues to rise in terms of Steam ratings.

After three years, Cyberpunk 2077 has finally hit overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam.

Why it matters: What the Cyberpunk 2077 team has done is rarely seen in the industry and will be remembered for a very long time.

The title has received over 650K reviews on the platform. 83% of all the reviews are positive, making it one of the most beloved titles on Steam. However, the recent reviews are even better.

Of the 7K reviews last month, 95% are positive. This is the first time Cyberpunk 2077 has hit an overwhelmingly positive rating on the platform, making it a huge milestone for CDPR’s developers.

The developers who worked hard in the last few years are celebrating this massive achievement while thanking fans for giving them another chance.

CD Projekt community manager Marcin Momot has also thanked fans for the recent reviews. Despite the positive outlooks around the RPG in recent years, the team is still not taking anything for granted.

These responses make it clear that every bit of support means a lot for CD Projekt RED. The studio may have moved on from Cyberpunk 2077, but it continues to hold the title close to its heart.

The team has also learned all the right lessons from this experience, promising to use them for an even better launch next time.

There is a lot to like about Cyberpunk 2077 in 2024. Perhaps the combat is the biggest appeal since this RPG offers a plethora of options for each encounter. Other aspects, like the narrative and characters, are also worth appreciating.

The developers look more confident than ever as they prepare to work on the sequel. CD Projekt RED intends to carry the same team to the next game, giving them creative control to shape another exciting adventure in this universe.
