Best Time To Buy Ada Lovelace!

AMD has always been a rival to Nvidia in the graphics card sector. The company was recently able to attract customers with the Radeon RX 7800 XT and RX 7700 XT due to their low prices and enticing performance.

This meant that Nvidia was at a disadvantage in the $400-600 price bracket and was forced to make a quick decision. Nvidia has decided to slash prices across graphics cards like the GeForce RTX 4070 and RTX 4060 Ti.

While the performance of the Radeon RX 7800 XT is considered disappointing by some, the graphics card is priced at $499, allowing it to become the best-selling card in many regions.

Since it competes with the GeForce RTX 4070, it currently presents a better option than any Nvidia offering at this price point. AMD also offers more VRAM, forcing Nvidia to make a tough choice.

The Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 has seen a price reduction of nearly 10%, dropping it to $550. Similarly, the 16GB Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 Ti currently costs $450 compared to its MSRP of $500.

The GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 8GB is currently $380, slightly less expensive than its launch price. Similarly, the GeForce RTX 4060 is now valued at $280. Surprisingly, a few AMD graphics cards have also jumped in price recently.

The high-end Radeon RX 7900 XT is currently 5% more expensive, while others, like the Radeon RX 7600, currently cost $260. Unlike AMD and Nvidia, Intel has kept most of its prices stable across the lineup.

The exception to this rule is the Intel Arc A770 16GB, which is currently selling for $320. Nonetheless, the GPU market is at an interesting point right now. While innovations like DLSS 3.5 are pushing the market forward, consumers remain mostly indifferent to the market.

AMD’s recent graphics cards mark a step in the right direction, but competitors like Nvidia must follow to ensure consumer spending and interest continues to rise in the coming years.
