GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16GB Releases Without Reviews Or Media Coverage

No Reviews For 16GB Variant!

The GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16 GB was just released on the market yesterday. However, Nvidia has not talked about the new graphics card at all.

Usually, new graphics cards are launched with plenty of media coverage, but the updated 16GB version of the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti has barely been mentioned. The 16GB model is an updated variant of the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 8GB from June.

Even though the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16GB is now up for sale, users will find it hard to obtain. It is sold out, with limited models and stock from well-known board partners, including Asus, MSI, Gigabyte, and Zotac.

Furthermore, board partners from Nvidia are reportedly not excited about the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti launch.

The main reason behind this is the price, which is $100 more than the 8GB version. Aside from that, both the 8GB and 16GB versions of the GeForce RTX 4060 share similar specifications.

Currently, there are no reviews of the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16GB. This is because Nvidia and its board partners were unwilling to provide samples to the reviewers. However, independent reviewers will likely buy the GPU for coverage in the coming days.

As for performance, it should be similar to its 8GB counterpart, which was mostly outperformed by the last generation GeForce RTX 3060 Ti in memory-limited scenarios since the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti comes with a limited memory bus compared to GeForce RTX 3060 Ti.

The 16 GB version of the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti might be able to compensate for the lack of memory, but users have to pay a $100 premium for the additional memory. 2023 has been quite underwhelming for current-gen graphics cards, mainly because of their price and limited memory.

Many of these graphics cards do not justify the requirements for current-generation games like Resident Evil 4 Remake and The Last of Us Part 1, which require more than 8GB of memory for a 1080p experience.
