Starfield is one of the most anticipated games of all time. Developed by Bethesda Games Studios, most famous for the Elder Scrolls franchise and the Fallout games, the game is set to release sometime this year. Developer Bethesda Games aims to set the bar once again for what is possible in an open-world action RPG like they once did with Skyrim. The developers have also recently released episode 2 of the “Into the Starfield” series that began late last year on Youtube. Consequently, the hype for the game is at an all-time high.

ZeniMax Media, the parent company of publisher Bethesda Softwares, has recently filed a trademark that could be linked to the upcoming game. The collector’s edition of the game will include a smartwatch according to a previous leak. The smartwatch was first seen in an update video on the game. A Reddit user later found more images with a user manual by The Wand Company. The watch, called the LPV6 ChronoMark, will reportedly come with features like temperature and humidity monitoring. Furthermore, the ChronoMark could also be integrated with the game’s UI elements in one way or another.

The recently registered trademark could be related to the smartwatch.

As seen above, the picture points out how the “ChronoMark” trademark could be in relation to the name of the Starfield smartwatch. This is in line with the previous information regarding the smartwatch. Interestingly, another user has pointed out how Todd Howard was also seen wearing the aforementioned smartwatch in an earlier Starfield trailer.

While this trademark has more to do with the game’s collector’s edition than the game itself, it could hint at ZeniMax picking up the pace for the game’s marketing. With the game set to release later this year, fans won’t be waiting too long before they can get their hands on the game. Starfield promises to let players loose in an endless open world where the player is in charge. Todd Howard has also said, “Starfield is like Skyrim in space”. If the game can live up to the hype as Skyrim once did, it could end up as one of the greatest games of all time.
