Despite that, Warzone 2.0 has crossed the 25 million players mark in just five days, while Warzone had reached 30 million in 10 days. This achievement is surprising as, despite negative reviews, the player base is increasing much faster.

Moreover, what’s more impressive is that Modern Warfare 2 passed $1 billion in revenue in just 10 days of its launch. The achievements the new title is achieving are outstanding, and with the looks of it, it seems like the game will keep on performing things that will surprise us even more. However, there is still more potential in the game that hasn’t been utilized yet.
Many fans are concerned with the changes but are satisfied with the gameplay as MWII provides pretty excellent and smooth gameplay. The new Call of Duty title is facing criticism for now, but hopefully, the game will be improved as there is much room for improvement.
Keeping the criticism aside, just the fact that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 surpassed $800 million in sales in just 3 days and crossed $1 billion in just ten days, making the title one of the best in the history of the Call of Duty Franchise. Moreover, this CoD title is Steam’s biggest Call of Duty launch.
Now with the details on hand, we can conclude that Activision Blizzard will take some steps to improve the game according to fans’ concerns. The fans can rest assured for now, as the game is highly successful in terms of sales, so hopefully, the issues in the game will be fixed soon.
