- Stellar Blade made its debut on the PC platform in June and has sold over a million units.
- The game has also seen nearly 20 million mod downloads, becoming the second most modded title this year.
- Between cosmetic customization and PC optimization tweaks, modders have brought a lot of options to the game.
Stellar Blade made its PC debut in June after becoming one of the PS5’s most famous success stories for a new studio.
Since then, the game has become an even bigger hit, enjoying praise from the modding community in particular. In fact, the game is currently 2025’s second most modded title.
Why it matters: Compared to the other games on the list. Stellar Blade launched much later. However, the game has already outpaced the competition in this specific regard.
Over on Nexus Mods, the game has seen a total of 19.8 million mod downloads so far. This puts it right behind The Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion Remastered as one of 2025’s most modded titles.
The comparison with Oblivion Remastered is particularly impressive since this franchise has a long history with the modding community. Moreover, Stellar Blade is now among the top 40 most modded games on the platform.
To nobody’s surprise, the most popular mods for Stellar Blade change Eve’s appearance in one way or the other. At the time of writing, the mod titled EVE- Eye Colors and Makeup Compendium remains the most downloaded, with close to 300K downloads.
On the other hand, a mod to improve PC performance has seen over 200K downloads so far. Most of the other mods offer different outfits for players to customize Eve with.
The game continues to resonate with audiences on PC, and as a result, Shift Up seems to have begun work on Stellar Blade 2 already. Because of this success, it would also not be shocking to see the sequel launch day one on PC.
Till then, however, fans can continue to explore the many mods available for the title.
