- State of Decay 3 has finally received a new trailer.
- This footage shows a mix of gameplay and cinematics.
- Undead Labs has not yet shared a release date.
Fans have been waiting for a gameplay trailer of State of Decay 3 for many years. The last entry in the franchise was released over six years ago, and this IP has been forgotten since then.
However, as a recent leak suggested, a new gameplay trailer for State of Decay 3 has finally surfaced during the Xbox showcase.
Why it matters: State of Decay 3 is much more ambitious than its predecessors, leading to more hype for this franchise than ever before.
The latest trailer highlights the world that Undead Labs has created. While it does not focus on gameplay alone, fans will find a few glimpses of gameplay in between the cinematics.
Thanks to Unreal Engine 5, State of Decay 3 looks like quite the graphical upgrade over its predecessor. Fans have also been excited at the latest look since this is the first time Undead Labs has shared footage after many years.
Originally revealed about four years ago, this zombie game is now ready to soar to new heights as part of Xbox’s first-party catalog. Unfortunately, Microsoft has not shared a release date yet.
While it is exciting to see the title again, there isn’t much to say about the little gameplay shown for now. However, fans should keep an eye out for any future gameplay to keep up with Undead Labs’ progress.
State of Decay 3 seems to be a few years away. Still, many are happy to see that the project is still alive.
Since the team has just shared a new look, we can almost guaranteed that more gameplay will be available by next year. Undead Labs may even reveal a release window at some point in 2025.
