Splash Damage, Shroud, and Sacriel Announced Project Astrid

"We Want To Build The Best Survival Game Ever"

Shroud and Sacriel are well known among the Twitch community as these two are highly famous Twitch streamers. They both are well-known in the gaming industry for their skills, and we all know how good Shroud is at shooting games.

A new project has been announced where Shroud, Sacriel, and Splash Damage will collaborate to make a AAA open-world survival game. The game’s title is yet to be released, so it is just known as the code name Project Astrid.

The developer of Splash Damage said:

“Splash Damage will be leveraging the experience and knowledge of both Sacriel and shroud to create a game worthy of the genre and its fans.”

It has also been confirmed that Shroud and Sacriel will be taking the role of executive creators. Project Astrid will be the first original IP for Splash Damage which is a significant milestone, but it all depends on how the game will be in the sight of fans.

This is a massive opportunity for Shroud and Sacriel; they both are excited about it. This project means everything to Shroud, as he said:

This project means everything to me. Chris and I have refined a vision for what’s next in the survival genre, and with Splash Damage we’re setting out to build it.

We want to build the best survival game ever, and with Sacriel’s brain and Splash Damage’s team, I know we can do it.”

Sacrield asl mentioned that this is a dream come true for him, as he has been dreaming about helping build a game with Shroud that streamers and gamers love. The CEO of Splash Damage, Richard Jolly, is also excited about this collaboration.

He explained how great a friendship this duo has as they both met in an online PVP and have over 20 years of the multiplayer experience. He further clarifies that Project Asrtid is the culmination of this passion, born out of a partnership with two close friends, who also happen to be incredibly well-respected experts in our industry.

The CEO has also acknowledged that this game is entirely different from anything they have done before, and they are excited to share this with fans. Sacriel and Shroud both have combined millions of followers, which will surely help in the success of the new game.

But that will only be possible if the game lives up to the hype. The main goal of this collaboration is to build the best survival game ever. This is a huge and challenging milestone, but we hope for the best. It is also worth mentioning that Splash Damage is working on Transformers Reactivate.

The game is currently in pre-production, and some news regarding it will be revealed in the future. Aside from that, what do you think of this new collaboration to build the best survival game? Are you excited about the project Astrid? Please share your thoughts with us in the comments section.
