The Silent Hill series is known to have an immensely horrifying plot and setting. Fans would be delighted to know that at least the setting won’t be changed in the upcoming Silent Hill F

Fans absolutely enjoyed the Silent Hill 2 remake as it was genuinely terrifying. Due to that, they have been patiently waiting for the next game in the franchise, and due to how much fun they had with the SH2 remake, their expectations subconsciously skyrocketed. The fandom was right to expect more as the new trailer of Silent Hill F is fire

Why it matters: Horror games are always welcomed in the gaming industry, as there is always a shortage of them. With the release of Alan Wake 2 and the Silent Hill 2 remake, the genre has been revived.

During the PlayStation State of Play, a new look at the upcoming Silent Hill has been revealed. The game looks terrifying, and it completely captures the essence of a Silent Hill title. The atmosphere and locations are as scary as we have already seen in the latest remake, if not more.

Some of the instances in the trailer may look more terrifying to you as the whole setting looks bizarre, exactly what you would expect from a Silent Hill title.

The Upcoming Silent Hill Game Looks As Scary As A Game Can Be

The gameplay and camera angle of the character seem to be the same as those of the Silent Hill 2 remake. You may think the attack animation is a bit clunky, but that is just how it is. This was also the case with the latest title, so it is a special type of animation.

Only having a terrifying atmosphere and setting won’t be enough, right? There are monsters that are weird but scary enough to make you run for your life. Additionally, the game is set to release on PC, Xbox Series S/X, and PS5 on September 25.
