  • However, this person has said some really controversial things in the past.
  • Upon asking what would make the world a better place, Geller replies with ‘no gamers.’

The Silent Hill 2 remake was highly criticized before, but now the game looks pretty solid. While some fans do have concerns regarding changes in character appearances, the overall impressions come out as positive

However, just recently, someone recently revealed on Twitter that they worked as a consultant for this game, and it is raising some controversy. Geller basically works for Hit Detection LLC, which is pretty similar to Sweet Baby Inc.

However, that isn’t the main issue. Geller previously stated that the world would be better without gamers and has recently worked on one of the most iconic horror games in the industry.

Why it matters: A Sweet Baby Inc. employee previously said that the company’s aim is to burn down the gaming industry, and now another person has made a similar claim highlighting the company’s real aim.

Jacob Geller From Hit Detection LLC Worked As A Silent Hill 2 Remake Consultant

Jacob Geller recently wrote on Twitter that he consulted on the Silent Hill 2 Remake and had a really great time working with the team. However, a few years back, he responded to a tweet from Compulsion Games writer Bijan Stephen.

i’m curious: what’s the dumbest idea you have that you nevertheless believe will, if implemented, make the world a better place.

To this question, Jacob Geller simply replied, ‘no gamers.’ This means that he is indicating the world would be a better place without games, and the person seems to be highlighting the male ones.

Jacob Geller Said Some Really Controversial Stuff On Twitter

Geller did previously state that there would be more girl gamers if guy gamers didn’t act so unlikeable. However, that is not all; he also talks about Taro and Kojima

Honestly the fact that ~gamers~ don’t think of Taro and Kojima as political totally fits. ‘Politics in games,’ means ‘anything about race or gender and nothing else.’

-Jacob Geller

He really seems to have something against the gamers while working in the gaming industry. The fandom is confused and angered by this and wonders why he is still in the industry and worked as a consultant for a big name like Silent Hill 2 Remake.

While the posts are pretty old, that still doesn’t change the fact that Geller said such stuff in the past and is now a big part of the industry.
