- Capcom’s Pragmata is finally set to launch on April 24, 2026, after multiple delays.
- It has hit 1 million wishlists already amid a very positive reception on its demo.
- It will join Resident Evil Requiem as two of Capcom’s flagship titles for next year.
Capcom’s upcoming sci-fi action-adventure title was first revealed in 2020, after which came multiple delays and even rumors of cancellation. However, the title is now finally closing in on its release, and it’s shaping up to be a hit.
The studio has announced that Pragmata has now reached 1 million wishlists across the globe. Capcom recently revealed a demo for the title, and fans were largely impressed, leading to a mostly positive reception.
Why it matters: Pragmata seems to be really fun based on what we’ve seen so far. It has a futuristic setting, decent gameplay, and a story that seems to be going for the TLOU-like father and daughter dynamic.

Capcom took to X to announce the 1 million wishlist milestone. The game is also about to break into Steam’s top 10 most-wishlisted games, where it joins another much-anticipated Capcom game, Resident Evil Requiem.
A demo was also launched recently to assess the game’s performance on PC. The studio said it’ll use the data to optimize it better on PC. A console demo will also be released with the same goal in mind.

It did receive a bit of backlash recently because of Denuvo implementation. Nonetheless, even its previews from earlier this year praised it, claiming that the delays were worth the wait, based on the quality.
Pragmata is not set to join a very star-studded 2026, with many other huge releases. It comes out on April 24, 2026, and will be available for all major platforms, including PS5, Xbox Series X, PS5 and even Switch 2.
