Ever since the Nintendo Switch hit the market, the demand for the handheld console has been insane. Everyone is trying to get their hands on the portable console because it is easy to carry and is a powerful device to play your favorite games.
It looks like the Nintendo Switch has been performing well recently. According to a recent report from gamesindustry.biz, the Nintendo Switch topped the UK’s monthly hardware sales ranking, surpassing the Xbox Series X|S and the PlayStation 5.
Sales of the Nintendo Switch increased by an astonishing 175% in November, with 8% of those sales being attributed to the release of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, the most recent entry in the Pokemon series. Black Friday sales also contributed to the astounding rise in Nintendo Switch sales.
Thanks to a large £60 price cut it received on Black Friday, the Xbox Series X|S took second place, with a boost in sales of 105%. The PlayStation 5, which finished in third, saw a 71% gain in November hardware sales, 38% of which came from the God of War Bundle.
It was unexpected to see Nintendo outperform the Xbox Series X|S and the PlayStation 5 by such a significant margin, but that was made possible by the incredible combo Nintendo had prepared for November, which significantly increased its sales for the month.
We are excited and looking forward to the future of the Nintendo Switch. This is the limited information we have for now, but we will be looking for more news regarding Nintendo Switch in the future.
