Druckmann Claims Intergalactic Is Naughty Dog’s Wildest Experience Yet

In a new interview with Variety, Neil Druckmann was asked to elaborate on what he meant when he said the upcoming title would feature the deepest gameplay yet. He shared his optimism about the project and hinted at the massive scale of the game.

He emphasised that it’s set to be the best game the studio has ever made, featuring the strongest gameplay elements they’ve developed to date, which is definitely something to look forward to.

Druckmann explained that this evolution began with their earlier titles, starting with Uncharted. It progressed with The Last of Us, which introduced deeper RPG elements, and now it will continue with their upcoming game.

You could look at our previous titles and see the evolution of going from “Uncharted.” With “The Last of Us,” we added some RPG elements.

Continue that trajectory forward, add sci-fi and we’ve gotten even more ambitious than that.

According to him, the studio has become more ambitious than ever, and he believes fans will be pleasantly surprised by what’s in store.

Druckmann also mentioned that this is the most ambitious and expansive game Naughty Dog has ever created. He believes that by the time development is complete, it may stand as the studio’s most expansive title to date.
