Pre-orders for Bethesda’s Indiana Jones and the Great Circle have reportedly been much lower than expected. An insider recently revealed that during the same pre-launch period, the game’s retail pre-orders were 86% behind those of Dragon Age: The Veilguard.

Critics believe the game’s focus on stealth limits its appeal, especially for Indiana Jones movie fans who were hoping for more exciting and varied gameplay. While the game features brilliant visuals and a true-to-life Indiana Jones style, its gameplay has been seen as disappointing.
Another reason might be due to the fact that the game is slated for a day-one launch on Xbox Game Pass. Many players might choose to play the game through their subscription instead of buying it upfront.
