The latest Horizon game saw praise from critics and fans alike. It saw multiple award nominations, including the Game of The Year award at TGA 2022. As such, the 8.4 million sales milestone is just one of the game’s biggest achievements.

The previous game, Horizon Zero Dawn, was initially released on the PS4. However, it later made its way to the PC platform. Horizon Forbidden West may follow a similar pattern, and a PC port would further boost sales.

In a recent financial report, Sony also claimed that it would continue working on more pc ports.

Guerrilla Games has already confirmed that a new title in the Horizon franchise is in development. This next entry, along with an online project based on the Horizon universe, should ensure that fans continue to enjoy Aloy’s adventures for many years to come.
