Dead Island 2 has been developing for so long, and everything has been chaotic. The game was first announced in 2014, and when the fans finally thought that February 3, 2023, was going to be the release date, the game was delayed. The release date has been delayed to April 28, 2023. There isn’t much gap, but fans will have to wait even more.

The studio confirms on its official Twitter account that the game is delayed and wants fans to be patient. They said

“The delay is just 12 short weeks and development is on the final straight now; we’re going to take the time we need to make sure we can launch a game we’re proud to launch.

For those of you who’ve been waiting for years, thank you for hanging in there with us.”

Now that the game has been delayed, fans can’t do anything about it except for waiting. Moreover, Dambuster Studio announced that more information regarding Dead Island 2 would be revealed with a new trailer and gameplay showcase in December;

“we will be releasing an exciting new trailer and gameplay at The Dead Island 2 Showcase, which will premiere on December 6”

As the game has faced many problems and has been in development for so long, fans can expect the gameplay to be good as it will be revealed on December 6, so stay tuned and don’t miss it.

In Death island 2, there will be 6 playable characters, along with a three-player online co-op option. The zombie has infected all 6 protagonists, but they are immune and can harness that power as zombified anger. Additionally, each character has a unique skill system and is ungradable. After acquiring all the talents, they may be switched around in a deck of cards fashion.

Dead Island 2 is not an open-world game, instead moving between several distinct, large districts. Hopefully, the gameplay will be what fans expected it to be, if not more. Aside from that, what do you think of Death Island 2? Have you played the prequel? Let us know in the comments section.
