Corsair Breaks Past Limits With 14 GB/s PCIe 5.0 MP700 Pro SE SSD

Available In 2 TB & 4 TB Capacities!

[Press Release] Corsair aims to push SSD performance to a new level, debuting the MP700 Pro SE as part of this ambition. Thanks to PCIe 5.0 compatibility, the MP700 Pro SE can reach up to 14,000 MB/s and 12,000 MB/s sequential read and write speeds.

Such capabilities make it around twice as fast as most PCIe 4.0 SSDs and a whopping 25 times faster than your average Sata SSD. Thanks to the latest NAND flash technology, random random read and write performance is also impressive.

The MP700 Pro SE Can Still Work Well With Integrated M.2 Cooling

With these capabilities, Corsair’s latest offering is well-suited to a number of tasks, including file transfers and gaming. The latter is particularly well optimized through DirectStorage compatibility.

Corsair encourages pairing the MP700 Pro SE with the latest chips, including Intel 14th Gen and AMD Ryzen 7000 CPUs. However, backward compatibility means that PCIe 4.0 systems are also supported.

The MP700 Pro SE comes in 2TB and 4TB configurations. Moreover, it can perform quite well without any additional heatsinks. For those looking to go the extra mile, however, Corsair offers the SSD with either an active cooler or a Hydro X Series water block.

The latter is a separate variant geared toward gaming enthusiasts, pushing the SSD to its limits under intense loads. Such options are made even more compelling by the inclusion of Corsair’s SSD Toolbox software and a five-year warranty.
