Call Of Duty: Warzone is one of the most popular Battle Royale games. The game mode has seen various changes over the years and is currently in its final year of support. With Call of Duty: Vanguard, Warzone got a brand new World War 2 themed map and a number of different weapons from the era. It seems like the game mode is once again gearing up for a big change, and Activision has been slowly teasing information, hinting at the upcoming event.

Back in February, a potential data-mine claimed that King Kong could be coming to Warzone. This took the community by surprise and many were excited at the prospect of such an appearance.

As the tweet shows, a live event was rumored to include King Kong. Last year, Kong was featured in a movie alongside the famous mystical creature Godzilla. Speculations led to rumors about Godzilla and Kong being a part of the event and although, it might look totally out of place, but Call Of Duty has been known to feature crossovers in the past. Call Of Duty has had crossovers with Attack On Titan and John Rambo in the past, so this isn’t something entirely new for the franchise.

Furthermore, the official Call of Duty Twitter account recently released a trailer for the next season of Warzone, which also adds to this speculation. One tweet in particular, sounds very similar to Godzilla’s roars from the movies.

And now, Twitter User ‘ModernWarzone’ has tweeted about an email sent out by Activision. This email is most likely part of Activision’s promotional campaign for the upcoming event.

According to the Twitter user, the email is themed around the phrase “Don’t Believe Their Lies”. Moreover, a Twitter user, @Vondyispog has also pointed out something very interesting about a particular sheet within the picture.

Apparently, the picture above shows some form of Morse Code. The Call of Duty community on Twitter has quickly deciphered the code and they believe that the message says “DO NOT BELIEVE THEM. SECRET WEAPONS EXIST. I AM COMPROMISED.” Several users have confirmed that this translation is accurate. If true, this lines up with the previous hints. The Secret Weapon in question could be Godzilla, and this would add further credence to Godzilla’s appearance in Warzone.

As said earlier, Call of Duty is no stranger to bizarre collaboration events. While a Godzilla vs. Kong event would not be too far-fetched for the franchise, one must wonder how creatures like Godzilla and Kong could fit into a competitive first person shooter. Last year, Call of Duty: Warzone was invaded by Krampus, who would hunt players randomly on the battlefield. Perhaps, the new monsters could operate in a similar manner. On the other hand, Call Of Duty could also setup a boss fight against the giant monsters, forcing squads to team up.

Whatever happens, players are sure to have a lot of fun. Warzone has been quite consistent with its diverse events and we suspect that Godzilla’s entry into the game will be one of the best events yet. However, nothing has been confirmed by Activision at the moment, so it would be wise to take this information with a grain of salt. We are looking forward to the event and will keep you updated on what transpires next.
