The crash also led to the passenger, whose identity remains unknown for now, ejecting out as a result of the impact before eventually passing away at a hospital. No other fatalities have been reported in the incident, but no matter how you put it, this is extremely sad news for the entire industry.

Vince Zampella was just 55 and was continuing to produce excellent games one after another as the leader of Respawn Entertainment. He was also a father of three children, and our hearts go out to everyone impacted by his loss.
