Avowed director Carrie Patel has recently claimed that the RPG will have some jank to it at launch—the sort of unexpected glitches that can sometimes interfere with gameplay. Fans are concerned that this little tidbit might suggest an underlying issue with bugs in Avowed.

In the past, Xbox boss Phil Spencer had mentioned that Avowed was not delayed at all because it was in bad shape in an attempt to clear the air and growing concerns. On the flip side, the director seems to imply that the RPG will not be the most polished at launch.

Regardless, Avowed is said to be skipping 60FPS on the Xbox Series S, but the director also noted that it ‘can’ climb up to 60FPS on the Series X.
