The Assassin’s Creed franchise is looking very exciting. Ubisoft has finally confirmed a brand new game called Assassin’s Creed Mirage, and audiences have been eager to learn more. All eyes are on Ubisoft’s upcoming event, and expectations are sky high.

A few Assassin’s Creed games are also headed to different gaming subscriptions. Assassin’s Creed Origins will soon join the PS Plus extra catalog, and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will become a part of the Xbox Game Pass

However, a new development on Xbox consoles could hint at some more exciting news regarding the franchise. As spotted by Reddit user u/Assured_Observer, Assassin’s Creed games on Xbox have recently been updated with a new logo

As seen above, various games from the franchise have a new logo on the cover art. This could mean a number of things, and many fans have speculated that these titles could soon be headed to Xbox Game Pass.

Furthermore, this could also hint at Xbox Series enhancements for the games. Many previous titles, like Assassin’s Creed Unity, could use the hardware of the new consoles for better resolutions and frame rates. On the other hand, a few titles have already received next-generation updates. Assassin’s Creed Origins currently supports 60 fps on the new consoles with higher resolutions.

A recent image from Ubisoft Brazil also led to speculation about the games coming to Xbox Game Pass. It should be noted that Ubisoft Brazil could also be teasing Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’s arrival on Game Pass.

Ubisoft has not confirmed anything at the moment. It would be wise to take this information with a grain of salt. Perhaps the new logos are just a visual change and do not mean much.

A Ubisoft Forward showcase is scheduled for later today. Assassin’s Creed Mirage will likely be the show’s star, but more information could be shared on the franchise’s future.

According to a report, Ubisoft is currently working on 5 Assassin’s Creed games, and the French developer could be looking to share more information on these projects at Ubisoft Forward.
