Assassin’s Creed Mirage Main Story Lasts Around 20-24 Hours

30 Hours When Including Side Content!

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is a trimmed-down experience of the franchise compared to recent RPG titles. The upcoming game was inspired by the demand for a classic experience, leading to Ubisoft’s focus on parkour, stealth, and a smaller map.

However, this led to concerns about the game being too short. A recent interview from the Lead Producer appears to clarify the game’s length, with the developer claiming Assassin’s Creed Mirage offers around 20 hours of story gameplay.

Why it matters: Gaming has become expensive with the recent economic conditions in the world, and 2023 is already packed with several high-quality choices. Therefore, the game’s length should help fans decide if it is worth the asking price.

Julien Chieze recently interviewed Lead Producer Fabian Salomon. The interview discussed Ubisoft’s focus on traditional mechanics from older games and other aspects.

Julien Chieze also asked the developer for a rough estimate of the playtime. Previously, the developers claimed it would be similar to older games in playtime, but the latest interview provides a more accurate answer for curious fans.

According to the interview, internal playtests have shown the main story can last anywhere from 20-24 hours. However, players that prefer to rush through the story can also beat it in 20 hours.

The Lead Producer also confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Mirage has several hours of side content, extending the total playtime up to 30 hours for players willing to complete the full game.

Given the title is priced at $50, many players will likely be satisfied with the playtime. However, users can also subscribe to Ubisoft+ for even cheaper access. The subscription is currently being sold for $1, providing a great opportunity to try the extensive library of Ubisoft’s offerings.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is also ditching XP-based levels. This is yet another way Ubisoft brings the game closer to older titles. The game is set to release on October 12.

With the release date being less than three months away, Ubisoft continues to share more details about the title. The latest reveal about the playtime is just one of the many small bits of information fans have recently learned about Assassin’s Creed Mirage.
