The sale numbers of the recently launched AMD Ryzen 7000 X3D chips are looking good. Among the two AMD chips, the Ryzen 7900X3D is selling with good numbers, while the Ryzen 7950X3D is sold out everywhere else.

TechEpiphany was able to gather the number of sales for the AMD Ryzen 7000 X3D chips from retailers. According to the sales figures, the AMD Ryzen 7900X3D has been doing quiet well since launch, selling a total of 360 units. The total number of units sold might be lower compared to previous generation chips like the AMD Ryzen 5800X and Ryzen 5800X3D.

Which sold a total of 400 units and 490 units at launch respectively. But at the same time, it’s much better than its predecessor, the AMD Ryzen 7900X, which only managed to sell just 230 units at launch.

The AMD Ryzen 7900X3D being the expensive option at $599, is still one of the best-selling chips even though its non-3D counterpart was discounted to $449. Furthermore, The AMD Ryzen 7950X3D is nowhere to be found and is out of stock everywhere. It seems the stocks for the AMD Ryzen 7950X3D were quiet low, while the AMD Ryzen 7900X3D is available with plenty of stock.

AMD has yet to launch one more chip in its 3D V-Cache lineup, the Ryzen 7800X3D, which might secure the first place when it comes to sales just like its predecessors did. With AMD Ryzen 7950X3D mostly out of stock, gamers only have the Ryzen 7900X3D chip to rely on.

The Ryzen 7900X with 12 cores and 16 threads will provide a balanced experience for both gamers and content creators alike. While the Ryzen 7800X3D at just $449 would be a great option for users with 8 cores and 16 threads, who are just looking to game with the fastest single-core performance.

Among the new AMD Ryzen 7000X3D chips, which one are you most excited about?
