Now, new tidbits about Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight have leaked, clarifying that its open world is even larger than the developers have let on so far. The game outright surpasses the open world of Arkham Knight in size alone.

The game will have Gotham City divided into four explorable islands. Additionally, the Batmobile controls and many other mechanics will also resemble Arkham Knight to ensure players have the most fluid Batman experience despite the cartoony art style.
This insider was also responsible for leaking the existence of the new Lego Batman project by TT Games a month ago, so his words have been taken seriously by the Lego gaming community. However, it is still best to be cautiously optimistic until official confirmation.
