GTA 6 remains the most anticipated release in the gaming industry at the moment. Following last year’s reveal trailer, the game is confirmed for a Fall 2025 release. However, nearly one year before this date, the team has yet to share new information.

Moreover, it’s been seven months since the team showed GTA 6 for the first time. Since then, Rockstar has kept fans in the dark, leading to speculations and discussions about the next showcase.

Why it matters: The GTA 6 trailer broke many records upon its launch, becoming the most-viewed non-music video on YouTube just 24 hours after its launch.

Fans on social media have noted that GTA 6 was first shown off seven months ago, on December 5, 2023. It’s certainly odd to reflect on this fact since time seems to have gone by in a flash. However, everyone seems more focused on Rockstar’s marketing plans.

Fans believe the game will show up again in December this year. This would mark one full year since the first trailer.
