This demand also comes from player preference. Some users have claimed they prefer to enjoy the game as a solo experience rather than teaming up with other players online.
However, an offline-only mode might be easier said than done for a game like Diablo 4. If the game is designed around the online elements, Blizzard would need to make various tweaks for an offline mode.
Some fans have also suggested a middle ground with a private online mode. This would allow players to experience the game without interruptions from others, while the developers would not need to work on a separate offline mode.
Ignoring the connectivity issues, Diablo 4 appears to be an impressive game for the franchise. For those who have not tried it yet, the open beta is still live, and fans can try the game until March 27 before its official release on June 6.
