Adaptive Trigger Support And More!

Gotham Knights was released in an unsatisfactory state for many critics and consumers. The game lacked compelling visuals, delivered poor performance, and failed to deliver a great superhero game.

However, WB Games Montreal has not given up on Gotham Knights, and the developer has been releasing patches for the game in an attempt to make improvements. The latest patch for the game has been released, bringing adaptive trigger implementations for PS5.

Gotham Knights now supports adaptive triggers for batcycle traversal and precision aim firing. This should allow for more immersion and better use of the DualSense functionality.

Additionally, rumble has also been updated for inclusion across more parts of the game, while Gotham Knights will also use the DualSense speaker more often after the patch. Similar improvements have been made for Xbox consoles.

While the Xbox Series S|X controller lacks adaptive triggers and a speaker, the patch will bring the same rumble updates for the Xbox platform. On the PC side of things, WB Games Montreal has introduced several changes and fixes to the game.

These include general performance and stability fixes, along with a plethora of UI and graphical fixes to the game. The complete list of patch notes can be found on the official game website

Before its release, Gotham’s Knights 30 fps limit on consoles became controversial, and the game saw criticism for this decision. Despite the problems, it is great to see the developers still supporting the game.

WB Games Montreal has also begun work on its next DC superhero game based on Unreal Engine 5. Rumors have pointed to the possibility of the game being centered around Superman, but little is known about this project except for its focus on single-player.
