Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is a brand new title from the team behind the Ninja Gaiden and Nioh franchises. Team Ninja has revisited the Souls-like genre, and their latest entry takes players to the historical Three Kingdoms. 

The game was announced at the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase, with more information promised for the near future. Team Ninja has finally shown a comprehensive look at Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty at TGS, and a surprise announcement has also been made.

A new demo for the upcoming game is now available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The demo is only available for a limited time, and users have 10 days to try the game. 

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty has also been confirmed for last-generation consoles. However, the demo is currently limited to the newer hardware. The PC platform has also been left out, despite being approved for the game’s release.

Team Ninja’s latest title includes all the features fans have come to expect from quality action-adventure titles. The genre’s signature challenging but fair combat will be at the forefront of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty’s gameplay

Features like a custom character creator and online multiplayer will also be included. Players can also expect to encounter multiple creatures and beasts from Chinese mythology as they progress through the hard world of Wo Long: Fall Dynasty. 

Furthermore, Team Ninja has mentioned that players can earn a reward for beating the demo. The “Crouching Dragon Helmet” can be equipped in the final game by players who have finished the demo. 

Tokyo Games Show has given fans a comprehensive look at the upcoming title. The new gameplay includes an overview of the game’s mechanics and two recent boss fights. 

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is set for an early 2023 release. While the release is a few months out, fans can get their first taste of Team Ninja’s upcoming title with the free demo.
