Silent Hill f Has Potential To Be The Best Game In Series, Reveal Previews

Can It Top Silent Hill 1 & 2?

Story Highlight
  • Most of the publications that have reviewed Silent Hill have nothing but praise for it.
  • Some of them have even called it a solid GOTY contender, and that it has the potential to be the best game in the series.
  • The game has received some criticism due to its tough boss fights.

Next month, two of the highly anticipated horror games are set to release, and Silent Hill f is one of them. The game’s previews were just recently released, and they are overwhelmingly positive, with many even claiming it to be a solid GOTY contender after just playing the first five hours of it.

Those who got to play the demo had one concern in common: the stamina mechanic was annoying, and a boss fight was too difficult. This made them compare it with the Soulslike Games. Despite that, some previews highlight that it has the potential to be the best game in the series.

Why it matters: The original Silent Hill and the second part are considered some of the best horror games out there, so it would be pretty hard to top such games in the franchise, which makes such claims even more impressive.

The preview mentions how gorgeous the game is and that it has the potential to become the best game in the series.

There was still some speculation as to if the series was truly “back.” I’d now go so far as to say it’s not only back, it’s stronger than ever, and that Silent Hill f has the potential to be the best game in the series.

It should be noted that the publications only played the first five hours of the game, and that was enough for them to hail it as a solid GOTY contender and potentially the best game in he series. That is a pretty solid compliment, but we can’t really judge a game with just the first five hours.

The Upcoming Silent Hill Game Has Exceeded All Expectations

The Silent Hill series is pretty popular and has some of the best games in the horror genre. So, surpassing them it would be a much bigger challenge, but if Silent Hill f manages to do so it would surely be a solid GOTY contender.
