Bloober Team surprised everyone with its work on the Silent Hill 2 Remake. Following that success, the studio received praise for its new original survival horror game, Cronos: The New Dawn.

Having delivered two solid titles back to back, fans are now eagerly anticipating what the studio has in store next. Currently, Bloober Team is working on seven projects, including a Silent Hill 1 Remake and a completely new IP.

Additionally, a leaker has revealed that the developer is also working on a Silent Hill 3 Remake, as well as another original IP inspired by Resident Evil.

Why it matters: Bloober Team managed to revive the Silent Hill franchise, but many fans are wondering when the other games in the series will receive remakes.

Silent Hill 3 Remake Is Rumored for 2028 Release.

Biohazard Ultimate, a well-known insider for Resident Evil and horror games in general, has revealed that a Silent Hill 3 Remake is in development and is expected to be released in 2028.

He also mentioned that the developer is working on another title inspired by Resident Evil.

According to the insider, this new Resident Evil-inspired IP is scheduled for release in 2026. If this rumor is accurate, we could hear about the game soon, possibly at The Game Awards 2025.

It is worth noting that another insider, Dusk Golem, previously claimed that the Silent Hill 3 Remake would be released in 2028. With plenty of time before its potential launch, it is unlikely we will receive an official confirmation on its development any time soon.

That said, neither the developer nor Konami has confirmed anything beyond the fact that seven games are in development. Therefore, we recommend taking this information with a pinch of salt until there is an official announcement.
