Silent Hill 2 Remake Development Is Almost Completed

Now Release Date Depends On Publisher, Konami!

The Silent Hill franchise had seen no progression for a very long time, and fans were waiting a long time for another instalment in the series. Their prayers were finally answered last year when they got to know about multiple Silent Hill titles being in development.

The remake of the famous Silent Hill 2 was one of the most eagerly awaited titles to be announced, and was welcomed with extreme anticipation ever since its announcement.

A lot of information has been revealed about the upcoming game, and now the president of Bloober Team has recently stated in an interview that the development of the Silent Hill 2 remake is almost completed.

Piotr Babieno stated that (translated from Polish),

“Silent Hill 2 is technically ready. It does not mean that the game is finished, but we are close.”

He further stated that,

“However, the issue of the release schedule lies with our partners, what the promotion will look like and when the title will debut is not directly in our hands.”

So according to the president of the Bloober Team, they are nearly through with the Silent Hill 2 Remake’s development, but Konami, the game’s publisher, will determine when it will be released.

However, if they are indeed close to finishing the Silent Hill 2 remake, then we may anticipate plenty more information in the near future, perhaps even a release date from Konami.

We are excited and looking forward to the Silent Hill 2 remake. This is the limited information we have for now, but we will be on the lookout for more news regarding the Silent Hill 2 remake in the future.
