New Benchmarks of The Ryzen 9 7900X3D CPU Have Leaked Out!!

The Ashes of the Singularity (AotS) game has been benchmarked on the new AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D, and from these benchmarks, we can at least get a sense of what to expect from AMD’s upcoming high-end CPU based on 3D-V Cache.

In three tests conducted three minutes apart, this CPU was specifically seen up to three times. This processor was mainly paired with the GeForce RTX 4090, NVIDIA’s top-tier graphics card. All tests were run using the DirectX 11 API with the ” Crazy ” graphics setting and 1080p resolution.

The results of the first benchmark test showed a 91 FPS performance with an 8,900-point total. The score increased to 9,000 points on the second test, then to 9,100 points with 92 frames per second on the third test.

As a point of comparison, the only performance test of an Intel Core i9-13900K, using the same GPU and graphics preset, produced a result of 107 FPS and a score of 10,600 points. This shows that the Core i9-13900k in Ashes of the Singularity is 16% faster.

We don’t know why AotS, an already obsolete title, is still being used, so you can imagine that the benchmarks might not represent the actual picture of gaming benchmarks of a flagship CPU from AMD.

We are talking about a 2016 game with some straightforward tests; though we can say that Ryzen 9 7900X3D does not stand out in this game, we will have to wait to see its performance in many of more latest and more demanding titles. One of these may be Hogwarts Legacy, which is quite challenging to run with good FPS, even with the best PC today.

AMD Ryzen 9 7950x3D, Ryzen 7900x3D, and Ryzen 7800X3D will be available on 28th February.
