- New Rockstar India job listing suggests that GTA 6 is undergoing game testing.
- This further solidifies the current release date the game is aiming for later this year, in November.
- Marketing for the game is starting in the summer season.
The highly anticipated GTA 6 is right around the corner, and it may be hard to believe considering all the past delays the game has experienced. With just a few months left until launch, it is expected that the game is in its final stages of development.
Rockstar may even be game-testing GTA 6, according to a new job listing. This further cements the publisher’s promise of releasing the game in November later this year.
Why it matters: With 3 delays for GTA 6, fans have now developed trust issues about whether the game will even come out later this year. However, this job listing will reassure those who doubt the game is coming out soon.
Currently, Rockstar has only a single project scheduled for 2026: GTA 6. The game releases on November 19, so it makes sense for them to be in the polishing stages. Rockstar India has a big part in the game’s development, and nearly 1,600 Indian developers make up all 10,000 people working on the game.
Although it is notable to mention that Max Payne 1 and 2 are also getting remade, those projects are being outsourced to Remedy Entertainment, the original developers of those games.

It is very likely that Rockstar is game-testing those remakes internally since their release is also around the corner. Still, the posting mentioned multiple game projects, so GTA 6 is most probably a part of that.
As for new details from Rockstar, marketing for the game will start soon, in the summer season. Previously, rumors have suggested a new trailer coming in April, so we suggest keeping your ears peeled for that.
