A New Mafia Is Already Underway!

Story Highlight
  • Voice actor from Mafia: The Old Country confirms new game in development.
  • Isabella Torris’s knowledge about the project hints it could be sequel to Old Country.
  • Neither Hangar 13 nor 2K has confirmed the news as of yet.

It’s been only a bit over a month since Mafia: The Old Country released, and Hangar 13 already seems to have its eyes on the future. The title managed to prove good for the studio as it became August’s most profitable game.

Now, a Mafia voice actor has confirmed that a new installment in the franchise is already underway. While there are no more details on what it’s going to be, this indicates we can expect another game in the future.

Why it matters? The Mafia franchise has always been a mixed bag, but it still has a solid fan base. Also, considering the last game was also decent, fans would be delighted to know another is on the way.

Carina Conti, the voice actress who played Isabella Torris in The Old Country, appeared on a live stream with Bubbly Nuggets and was asked about any new Mafia projects. She said Hangar 13 did greenlight another Mafia game.

While there are no details on the project, it could maybe be set in the same time or could even be a continuation of Old Country, assuming Conti will be involved in it, but this is just speculation on our part.

Hangar 13 is already working on a new Mafia game

Without spoiling the game much, Mafia: The Old Country did have elements of ending on a cliffhanger, so we won’t be surprised if the next game is a sequel to it. Nonetheless, if the game is indeed planned, we might hear about it soon.
