EA Executives Made $60 Million Despite Company-Wide Layoffs

EA has had a rough time with games recently, and the past few Need for Speed titles were essentially considered flops. Moreover, the company went through some restructuring lately, resulting in layoffs and a few project cancellations.

As such, it is understandable they’d streamline their focus on a few franchises. Currently, EA is locked in on Battlefield 6, a title they’ve reportedly spent $400 million on so far. The game also had several studios working on it, which leaves little to no room for other titles.
